Root Canals

Root canals treat infection and inflammation of the tooth pulp. When decay penetrates through the outer hard layers of a tooth and reaches the blood vessels and nerves near the center of the tooth (the pulp), it can cause the development of severe pain and infection. Inflammation of the tooth nerve can also develop without decay being present, for example, if a tooth is cracked, chipped, or hit hard. Infected teeth are usually quite painful, but not always. Sometimes chronically infected teeth can feel normal, but the infection can be destroying the bone holding it in place. It is important to treat infected teeth early to minimize the damage caused to the surrounding areas and to ensure enough tooth structure remains to safely fix the tooth without needing to remove it. We offer root canal services using advanced technology to safely remove the infected tissues and restore the tooth to health with a strong and non-toxic bioceramic filling system. 

Fillings

Fillings are one of the most common dental procedures performed, though the materials used have changed significantly over the past few decades. Fillings are used to repair decayed or broken portions of teeth. Modern composite filling materials are made from light cured polymers with ultra-strong nano-resin fillers that are bonded to the tooth with resin monomers. In addition to matching the color of the tooth, these fillings are less invasive, more supportive, and less prone to leakage than older materials. Bonded composite can also be used to enhance the beauty of teeth by filling in gaps, smoothing edges, or covering unsightly dark spots.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns are ceramic or precious metal caps that resemble natural teeth. They are used to treat a damaged tooth. For example, if a tooth has become decayed, cracked, or fractured, a crown can be placed over the remaining healthy tooth to restore its function and appearance. Bridges are multiple crowns connected together that can be used to fill an empty space where teeth are missing or for connecting teeth together for supporting them. Both options are excellent ways to restore damaged or missing teeth.  Crowns and bridges are not only strong and functional, but they can also be crafted to blend in well with natural teeth.

Implant Restorations

Dental implants look, function, and feel like natural teeth and are one of the best ways to replace missing or severely damaged teeth. An implant is a screw-like titanium post that is anchored into the jawbone below the gums and is used to support a crown or bridge. Implants can be used to replace single or multiple teeth and can also provide support and retention for dentures or partial dentures. Implants provide an excellent long-term solution to missing teeth. Dentures (Conventional & Implant Retained)

Dentures are a common tooth replacement option. Dentures are removable prosthetic devices that can be used to replace all of the teeth or just a few if not all are missing. Dentures may not always function as well as a set of healthy natural teeth, but they provide a great economical alternative for replacing numerous missing teeth. They can also be made to look very natural and beautiful.

Implants can be used to support dentures to provide a strong and natural feeling bite. Sticky adhesives and loose-fitting dentures are a thing of the past with the retention provided by implants. Implant retained dentures are an excellent way to revive a beautiful, strong, and natural feeling smile. Best of all, implant retained fixtures can be designed so that they do not need to be taken out at night like conventional dentures.
